Reindeer often comes by. Moose can come by a quick trip. Otherwise, otters and weights will run around the houses. In the sea, seals and rare dolphins swim. A superb place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it mirrors in the sea as well. Tromsø city centre bus, approx. 15 min. Sauna can be rented when you stay here - to be agreed later.

In addition, there is a loft loft Here you can experience Kvaløya and Ringvassøya, both of which have a mighty landscape and rich wildlife. As well as experience the northern lights indoors or outdoors with the fire pit. Possibility of mountains and skiing. There is also brand new outdoor sauna. You can swim in the sea or in the snow if you wish!

Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Cozy house with close proximity to nature!

Bright and cozy house located in a rural setting, close to a beautiful nature. Hiking trail right outside the living room window. A large glass veranda with the possibility of warmth where you have a good view of the northern lights. About 16 km from Tromsø city center. You go by bus nr 450, but we recommend rent a car. We can offer our guests discounted activities such as fjord cruises by car and boat and Northern Light Hunting - Northern Adventure Troms.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Make memories for life in this unique and family-friendly place. Skulgam is about 30 min drive from Tromsø city centre which has a good selection of shops and cafes. The space has a rich wildlife with good hunting and fishing opportunities. In winter, there are great opportunities for discovering the northern lights. The area also has great mountains for top hikes and skiing from the cabin.
