ISLE be BACK, Seaview and beach on your doorstep

Our Island house is located just 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is also only a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I operate it as a small holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Ocean View Glamping Pod

Our cosy garden glamping pod is situated on the westside of Lewis in a village area called High Borve. This area is very quiet, ideal for people looking to chill out and relax. The pod is located in our garden area at the front of our family home. Parking for the pod is at the rear of the pod. It's a lovely little pod to relax in after a day of sightseeing around the island. If you are looking for somewhere basic to rest your head for a couple of nights, then this is ideal for you.

Barnacle is a tiny house with a bright and spacious feel, situated in our garden. Despite the close proximity it has privacy and is not overlooked. Barnacle has sea views over Broadbay towards Point and beyond to the west coast of mainland Scotland. It’s a one bedroom house, with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. Small Crowd

My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

Aird Cottage

A lovely cottage situated 10 miles out of the main town of Stornoway, in a quiet village with wonderful sea views. Recently completely renovated to a high standard, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the sea and cosy up in the evening beside the wood burning stove. Perfect for a couple getaway! Having your own car would be ideal but regular public transport is available on your doorstep.
