We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

Casa incrível, espaço super limpo e organizado. A casa tem tudo o que precisamos e tem uma vista maravilhosa!

Het was een heel mooi huisje, klein, maar alles was van goed materiaal, fijne douche, mooi ingericht met leuke houtdetails. We sliepen heerlijk met de ramen open en het geluid van het riviertje, verder was het helemaal stil ‘s nachts. Buiten fijne terrassen, heerlijk met onze voeten in het riviertje gezeten, een fantastische omgeving, helemaal vrij uitzicht aan de achterkant van het huis en een lieflijk gehuchtje. We liepen elke dag een half uurtje naar Gois, een mooi dorp met rivier en heerlijke gebakjes bij de paladeria. Wij vonden het heel fijn!

We stayed at Filipe's place for a week, and our experience was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is in new condition. The appliances and TV are new and everything works perfectly. The beds are great...we slept better than we do at home. It was quiet and peaceful, which also facilitated a relaxing environment. Included is a space for parking if you are coming by car. Filipe was a great host. He answered our questions both before and after we arrived and checked in on us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay with Filipe again when we are in the Viseu area.

Nota 1000 para essa hospedagem. desde o primeiro contato, até o último minuto. A casa é perfeita, muito confortável e linda. A atenção do Rui e da Elizabeth foi excepcional. Sabugueiro é um lugar muito charmoso, as estradas cheias de curvas e as paisagens deslumbrantes. Enfim, recomendo com certeza! Foi uma viagem inesquecível!!

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

We’ve had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. Stunning views, nice pool and Pedro is the best Airbnb host you can get. Would love to come back here some day.

Foi uma estadia de pouca duração, mas gostei imenso da aldeia onde esta o alujamento do sr. Pedro. Foi muito amavel e sempre disponivel e prestavel para algo que fosse necessario. Uma experiência a ser repatida sem duvida. Casa recuperada muito agradável e acolhedora, com uma vista deslumbrante.

Alojamiento muy recomendable - Casa muy amplia , como se describe: en la zona inferior salón y cocina muy amplios , 2 dormitorios de matrimonio y baño completo muy grande . En planta superior , (abuhardillada pero en zona donde no están las estancias ) 2 dormitorios de matrimonio y un baño también muy cómodo La vida se hace abajo que es donde está más acogedor , está el salón y lacocina y es más grande Había de todo lo necesario , gel baño , champú , lavavajillas , jabón lavaplatos … además de dejarnos bastantes cápsulas para café y varias cosas más - Los dueños muy pendientes en todo momento y muy amables - limpieza muy buena , duchas muy limpias con buena presión de agua y buenos desagües - localizacion muy tranquila , pueblo pequeño como a 10 mn de un bar cercano en coche bajando una colina. El pueblo muy bien para pasear , hacer rutas … y para ir a visitar otras zonas : 1 hora aprox a Coímbra y a aveiro y un poco más al puente Arouca

Gostei muito da estadia, casa limpa e com tudo wue precisavamos, local sossegado e bem localizado. A Maiia Isabel, é muito simpática, atenciosa e prestável. Recomendo este alojamento.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Receio não conseguir expressar de forma suficientemente justa o quão incrível foi a nossa estadia na Casa da Cruz Alta. A casa é absolutamente maravilhosa, confortável, acolhedora; o aquecimento, a insonorização, os equipamentos, os detalhes, tudo perfeito! Não só tivemos tudo o que precisámos como os extras e as surpresas foram tantos que a nossa estadia não poderia ter sido mais completa. Os proprietários são super simpáticos e atenciosos, sendo óbvio o gosto que têm em receber bem e em proporcionar uma óptima experiência. O pequeno almoço deixado diariamente era de chorar por mais. Muito obrigado por tudo, voltaremos certamente!

The space was stunning—beautifully kept, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. But the real showstopper? The views. Absolutely spectacular in every direction. We spent hours just soaking it all in. The pool was perfect—clean, refreshing, and surrounded by scenery that made it feel like our own private paradise. Every moment here felt relaxing and memorable. What really made the stay extra special was Paulo and his wonderful family. They were warm, welcoming, and always available if we had questions. They also gave us amazing local recommendations, especially for restaurants—we had some of our best meals thanks to their tips! The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.
