I loved it, I went with my dog. Great for resting. You can take a walk around the space. I loved it.

An excellent property if you want peace and tranquility in a countryside setting but also so close(20 minutes drive) from 2 major towns with everything you would need for shopping/groceries. It is also a 40 minute drive from some gorgeous beaches. Lisbon is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive away if you wanted to explore the city. We picked the property for the countryside setting and it didn't disappoint. The house had everything you would need. All mod cons. We cooked meals most nights . Beds were very comfy. Outdoor space was lovely especially the pool. Parking for car at the house. For convenience there is a small very well stocked supermarket 4 minutes away. We had a lady call twice during the holiday selling freshly caught fish from her vehicle. Overall we had an amazing time on our break in Flavio's property and would throughly recommend it for a stay in Portugal...

It has been a pleasant experience in the Quinta Da Alcaidaria is historic , living surrounded by nature, a haven of peace, all very clean. Common areas ( pool, bar, and play area) are very well-kept The animals of the farm are very close to people. Nuno has been a super host. We will definitely do it again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

Dave and Wendy were great hosts! Always attentive to our needs and those of children. They gave information on everything that was needed for our fantastic stay. They greeted us with a treat for the snack plus seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on their property. They left us completely at ease, both inside and outside, we felt at home! The dimensions of the accommodation are better than the photos on the site reveal to us. Everything being great, it's impossible to characterize the friendliness and humanism of the couple Wendy and Dave. In contact with local people we understand how this couple of citizens is cherished and respected! Finally, even your Belgian shepherd dog is impressive with affection, always gentle and well laid out, as well as your black cat, full of character, who only asks for a few bites by placing himself on his belly! Based on respect and welcome, I could almost say we were friends. We will be back for sure!!

The house and the exterior were beautiful, we were able to rest. For us there was only one less positive point, we did not know that the house of the parents of the owner Isabel was literally next to the house we rented, the separation is a gate, but even so there is a door that gives access to the rented house, this takes away a little privacy. However, we loved it, and both the couple and the owner Isabel were super friendly and available

Beautiful place, we've recently moved to Portugal and needed a place to stay whilst we build. Both amazing hosts and made a feast of a breakfast and dinner for the duration of our stay. learnt a lot about the area and very helpful for what we needed. great setup, we would happily stay again

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kids loved the green space, animals, fireflies, and the pool. If you have a car, there are river beaches not far which was great, and we also visited Portugal dos Pequenitos with the kids. Elizabeth was always helpful!

Beautiful place in the countryside! fantastic views, was lovely, peaceful and quiet. Friendly pets on the land, cats and a dog that the 3 year old loved to play with! Easy check in, the owners live on the property in the main part of the house, the airbnb property is separate. They leave you alone but will be on hand if you need anything. One of the owners speaks fluent English which was helpful. Small kitchenette but with a fridge, washing machine, 2 gas hobs, microwave and coffee maker, great to make a meal but not the biggest kitchen! We came and went as we pleased to tour the area. Not too far from large connecting road network a few km. Unfortunately the pool was not usable due to lateness in the year but in the summer it's possible.

Our stay was amazing! The beds were super comfy, and the yard and views were absolutely gorgeous. The place is a perfect mix of modern tech and cozy countryside charm. The hosts were fantastic—super friendly, quick to reply, and full of brilliant local tips that made us feel like insiders. And honestly, the real stars of the show were the farm crew: Elvis and Shakira (the pigs with attitude) and Uva the donkey, who totally stole our hearts. Highly recommend for anyone in need of fresh air, beautiful views, and a few new four-legged friends.

Exceptional accommodation, with everything you need for the comfort of guests. Highly friendly owner. Ease of using third-party aids. High privacy in all rooms, with their own bathrooms. To be repeated, no doubt!

My husband and I needed alternative accommodation because our house nearby was being renovated. We had a few quiet and relaxing days in the apartment. Everything was great.

This house is a real gem, an impeccable experience, from the lush nature to the quality of the olive oil offered to guests. And as if that wasn't enough, they also offered us some essential items for breakfast, as well as delicious bread that arrives in the morning during the stay. Mariana was very kind and helped us with everything that was requested. My boyfriend and I love everything and want to return many, many times.

This is very much a camping experience. Off the beaten path, peaceful and quiet.

It was all magnificent, the only problem I had was the connection to Wi-Fi, and the fact that the network was not very good in the area. But great for a retreat in nature
