Our house is in the small village of Dalmore on the westside of Lewis. The house is minutes walk from the beautiful Dalmore beach and pets are welcome (MAX 2 pets - see house rules for more info). There are many areas of interest close by, including the Gearrannann Blackhouse village, the Dun Broch and we are about 15 minutes drive away from the famous Standing Stones. There is a local shop 5 minutes drive from the properly in Carloway. We are approx 30 minutes drive away from Stornoway.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

Taigh Aosd

Come stay in our newly renovated traditional croft house, An Taigh Aosd, which is the gaelic for The Old House, Originally built in 1939. Our house is located in Breasclete which is a very central location on the island, we are less than 2 miles from the Callanish stones and a 10 minute drive to the beach. An Taigh Aosd has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a stove. There is also a secret room if you manage to find it.
