This is a house run by Kikori, who manages the forest in Ikeda Town. It features a wood stove that burns wood harvested from the managed forest and a stone wall made of Hokkaido stones. It was only a tiny idea for our destination photography studio base, that also offers a relaxing space for clients to enjoy their shootings. Then it became more ambitious and more detailed. In collaboration with a famous design studio in Hokkaido, and a long-established construction company in the Biei-Furano area, we have brought this project to life.
