"Hidden Land ~ Kamihara Seiryu" "Grandmountain Park, Gemeinde, Gemeinde, Japan", a separate building, a mineral spring, a large public bath, breakfast included

RonnyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had booked 2 nights at Taiji's and enjoyed it very much. The location is very quiet and secluded, right on the river. The highlight is certainly the food, dinner (4000yen) and breakfast (included) are really great! The only criticism: the onsite area could be a little cleaner.

Cozy house Fukuoka #1

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A fantastic place to stay, particularly if you need somewhere for remote work or want to enjoy Japan’s peaceful suburban lifestyle. The host, Ms. Noniko, was super nice and made me feel at home. I was also lucky enough to meet some great guests. It was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this location.

It was the best place to stay!First of all, the full kitchen is really convenient, and it is very satisfying for us who are self-catering.All the cooking utensils and tableware were available, and I was able to enjoy cooking with local ingredients. In addition, there were two toilets, so even for a group stay, morning preparation was smooth. And most of all, the bath was very clean and spacious, and I was able to fully heal from the fatigue of the trip. It's a nicer space than the photos, and I definitely want to come back!

Soba noodle Homestay, feel Japanese rural life

BrianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a fantastic stay. We were folded right in with the family, which was very fun. The food was excellent; we enjoyed the demonstration of making our own soba. Any time we needed anything, Karin was so responsive and helpful. We especially appreciate her ability to speak English, which made everything so easy for us. Highly recommended!

Shimonoseki TK (Take) Base 202

GabrielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Superb stay at Takenaka’s place (TK Base). We had a group of 7 adults and 2 kids (4yo and 1yo) the house is huge and it fits us all! Each room has its TV and there are lots of common spaces (huge living room with huge TV, a comic reading area with chairs, and most importantly, 2 showers! The amenities were well equipped, and it feels like home. The host just lives next door so he was able to help out anytime during our stay. He is super friendly when we arrived and he gave us a warm welcome to his place. It is at the top of a hill in the nearby area. The place worth every penny. However, I would only recommend it to people who will be driving. Otherwise it would be too remote to go there. Thank you Takenaka for your arrangement.

Temple of Japan

Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely amazing stay!Mr. Koji keeps the space spotless, it's really clean, and the decor is very thoughtful, and you feel relaxed and happy as soon as you enter the temple.I also see that the plants in the temple courtyard are well taken care of, and I feel happy. At 7:00 in the morning, the temple will have work, and you will hear some drum sounds and other sacrificial sounds, but it does not affect the rest. Instead, it has a feeling of spiritual purification, and it is an alternative experience of Japanese culture. In addition, because the residence is close to the alley, there is occasional car noise or passers-by talking at night, but basically there are not many people here and it will not interfere with sleep. We are grateful to Mr. Koji for his kind information about the rescheduled festival and fireworks in Saga, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the festival, watch the fireworks and drone show. We were really touched! He personally drove us to the station when we checked out. Although the place is a little far from the city, there are many buses, convenient transportation, and nearby shrines, ruins, and shopping malls to walk around.I recommend everyone to stay here!

100 points for the house, brand new renovation, very spacious, feels very comfortable. It's a short walk to Aso Shrine, about 30 to 40 minutes to the volcano, and the location is good.If I have the chance next time, I will choose this house again!Absolutely recommend! It would be a plus if the kitchen had some simple seasonings.
