Sundhouse is located in the heart of Alsace between Colmar (35 km) and Strasbourg (45 km). You are close to the Wine Route with its authentic villages, Germany and its Black Forest and Europa-Park (25 km) with its new water park. You will be spoiled for choice with a multitude of sites to visit and discover in the surrounding area. If needed, our village has a restaurant, bakery, butcher-caterer, small supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, bank dispenser, etc.

A retreat in the countryside

Quietly located on meadows and orchards, the apartment is 5 km from Freiburg. The city center can be reached in 15 minutes, whether by car or bike, and in 20 minutes by public transport. Our residential area is nestled on the first hills of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, just a 10-minute drive from the cable car station to the Schauinsland. The Markgräflerland and Alsace are just a stone's throw away from here, Basel and Strasbourg day trips.

Spacious farmhouse for family and friends

The accommodation is located in an old spacious farmhouse from 1850. Hallau is located in the countryside on the German border between the Black Forest and Lake Constance. There is public transport, but a car is an advantage. In a two-minute walk you can reach the bus station, grocery store, bakery and bank. We are child friendly and non-smokers. I do a duck breeding. The ducks are in a part of the garden.

Sunny room near Titisee

Nice room about 20 m² with bathroom en-suite in Breitnau-Tiefen in the Black Forest. You walk out of the door and you find hiking trails and cross-country skiing. A few minutes away are the lakes Titisee and Schluchsee and ski Lifts as well as Badeparadies Titisee. An apartment of unusual layout immediately lets the senses wander. Starting from the hallway, you get to the room and back to the hallway in a tour. The view from the windows of the dining and living room offers a magnificent view of the old city church from the Middle Ages and exudes a historical atmosphere, and yet the modern furnishings do not miss anything.

Nature experiences - activities close to nature and culture

The house is situated in a spacious scattered settlement, the distance to the nearest house is about 50 meters. Apart from the guests, I live as a host in the house, the permanently rented apartment in the attic has a separate entrance from the outside. Guest access is at the bottom floor. Me as a host use the extra entrance in the basement.
