This house was built in 1904 which makes it one of the oldest (and coolest :) houses in Húsavík. Everything is in walking distance in the small town of Húsavík; whale watching, restaurants, pool, golf course, and hiking/biking paths. Walking from our apartment all the way to the other end of town/GeoSea takes just about 40 minutes. The apartment is on the first floor of the house with a private entrance and free parking.

The Foreman house - an authentic town center Villa

The "Foreman house" is a large authentic villa in the heart of Húsavík-town centre, named after the town local community leaders of past. Fully restored and elegantly furnished, mainly used as a family home and rented out as such. We love our house and do not rent it for wild parties but we really welcome guests that respect our old house. The house is rented in whole-exept for the basement, which we use for ourselves (no shared space - private entrance and 260 sq/m for guests.)
