Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Thunder Bay

The home was spacious and neat, tidy-not cluttered. Bedrooms upstairs were a good size. The basement area was very cozy. The place was a very good value compared to renting a few hotel rooms. The covered back deck area was a nice bonus space. Perfect space for our morning coffee. The area felt safe and quiet. We went for a walk and came across a nice stream and very well kept homes in the area.

great second stay! the home was clean, cozy, and just as lovely as it was when i visited thunder bay last year. communication with megan was smooth and check-in was easy. it’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants nearby. once again, i would most definitely recommend!

It was nice, quite and short stay. Beautiful place and hoss are respectful and responsive. Looks exactly like photos. Would definitely book it once again if I have to.

Crystal is a great host. Her house was everything we were looking for while staying in Thunder Bay. Crystal is very responsive, polite and has done a great job at including a kids bedroom with some toys to play with. Her rental is spacious, in a safe location and offers clean and basic amenities. Feels like home away from home. Danielle anticipated our needs and was a step ahead check in and out. Home was clean, neat and organized and had everything we need for our stay. Brand new deck, yard is huge and easy parking. Close to major roads and highway so getting around is easy. Great hostess!!! Will be back again next visit

I loved how clean the place was. I enjoyed the stay there especially how spacious it was. I loved how easy it was to get in and out of the house. But the only thing that was hard was the stairs as I had a foot injury but overall everything was great.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was definitely cozy…lots of pillows and blankets in the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked. The two little fans in the bedroom were the cherry on top. Bobbie really thought of everything!

Wendy’s Airbnb is in a very convenient location, especially if you’re having to walk at all. Wendy will greet you upon arrival, and I found her to be incredibly friendly and personable-she’s truly great to chat with and was very accommodating throughout my stay. She and her husband reside upstairs which makes for quick and easy communication. Personally I find it valuable when the host is on site as it makes it feel safer, and I’ve had issues at other properties where hosts weren’t present. I’d seen this ad before but hesitated because it’s a basement apartment. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised-it’s much brighter and more welcoming than the ad suggests. The apartment was very clean, the bed is soft and comfortable and coffee pods are provided, which is all I really ask for when staying somewhere.🙂The beautiful little backyard is obviously well-tended, and there’s an area where you can sit out in the sun. This Airbnb feels like a home away from home, and I’d stay again.

Truly enjoyed using this unit during our one week stay. It was very clean and comfortable with all amenities as advertised and additional unexpected treats! Nicoline is very familiar with her property and able to communicate tricks and tips to make your stay more enjoyable. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with entertainment and dining available within short driving distances. We'd be more than happy to recommend this suite to others.

Our stay was very, very comfortable. We traveled with a small group for a family celebration, and the host was very accommodating for our group. We instantly felt at home, which after travelling with a newborn and toddler, was priceless. We absolutely would stay there again.

This hotel is well located being near restaurants and shops. The hotel has all the amenities I require for my stay. The host was responsive to my needs and I will stay here again.

A very clean place. While it's an older house, including the basement, Alanna goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The price is very reasonable, and the host is incredibly responsive. The family resides on the main level, but they are quiet and respectful, ensuring a peaceful stay. If you're looking for an affordable option, I highly recommend this place.
