Turquoise waters, hire paddle boards, golden sand. Can get busy in Summer. Parking expensive, you can walk here from St Ives.

Everyone knows St Ives, it's extremely beautiful but parking is a nightmare in the summer. Why not use the park and ride. The views from the train are breathtaking. For those who like to walk, why not walk one way stop at Carbis Bay for a drink and you will discover more amazing beaches in route. You can always jump on the train for the return journey.

Carbis Bay is one of Cornwall’s nine award winning Blue Flag 2022 beaches. The beach rarely has any surf so makes for an ideal spot for families with toddlers and young children, as the sea here is perfect for swimming. Part of an array of beaches that make the St Ives Bay, the beach is listed as one of the world’s best by the ‘Most Beautiful Bays in the World Organisation’. Served by the picturesque St Ives branch train line, Carbis Bay is easily accessible from Orchard Barn.

Only a 15-minute walk to the beach from Oystercatcher. Golden sands, turquoise water, a beach bar/café, ice creams all to enjoy in a beautiful setting. Coastal walks around to Porth Kidney Sands and St Ives from here too.

One of Cornwall’s seven award-winning Blue Flag 2019 beaches. Golden sands lapped by turquoise waters. Located 300m from the bottom of the garden @ the property.
