While tea is usually associated with the hill country, the robust low-grown variety is cultivated in the estates of the South, many of which give personalized tours. You can surround yourself in the rolling emerald vistas of Sri Lanka’s most famous export while sipping an aromatic cup of our own Ceylon Tea.

A lovely little tea plantation. It's free to have a tour which starts with a cup of tea and slice of cake at the original planters bungalow, before they take you to the factory, and then to the gift shop where you get to sample all types of tea. You can leave a donation or purchase some products!

Visit the local tea plantation to learn how the tea leaves go from the bushes to your cup. Have a tour around the gardens and the factory, followed by tea tasting to finish.
