Sonoma Coast State Beaches extend just 4 miles north of Jenner and continue for approximately 17 miles to the south at Bodega Head. Featuring long sandy beaches below rugged headlands, secluded coves and natural arches. Boating, camping, hiking, horseback riding, golfing and whale watching are among the many activities to be enjoyed.

17 miles of untouched beaches from Jenner to Bodega Bay, start from Jenner or where Hwy. 116 meets Hwy 1 and drive south stopping at whatever beach looks good to you. Some of the highlights are Goat Rock Beach and Salmon Creek. Drive into Bodega Bay and have lunch at The Birds Cafe.

The Sonoma coast is beautiful! Drive out River Road to Jenner and then head North or South. Either drive provides you with beautiful ocean views. Going south you can stop at several spots for hikes down to beaches. You'll find plenty of opportunities for great food and then you can loop back inland at the village of Bodega. Head through Sebastopol and stop at Screaming Mimis for the best ice cream around. Head North and visit Fort Ross or continue up the coast to Sea Ranch, Gualala and Mendocino.
