Huge stretch of gorgeous sand- you can always find a quiet spot and surf here too (not huge waves but fun) and visit Burgh Island- home of Agatha Christie

Lovely big Sandy beach. Great for surfing. Large car park. Burger van and wetsuit hire.

The best local beach for surfing. Not always loads of swell in the summer. When there are waves can get crowded. I can give you a bit of info re rips, tides etc if your going for a surf. Has a surf school if your wanting to learn!! Access is via a long narrow (in places) lane which gets busy in the summer at peak times

Dogs only allowed on the part of the beach at the mouth of the Avon Estuary between May and October. However, still a great walk and swim for them especially at low tide. Round it off with a pint at The Sloop.
