Enjoy an ever-changing lineup of craft beers—from the likes of The Grifter and Balter Brewing Company—in the stamped-tin, chevron-tiled front bar or while playing pinball and Big Buck Hunter in the mini-arcade. If you have kids, head for the plant-filled beer garden—it connects to a play area with ball pits and a slide. Try whichever rotating beers they have on tap from Marrickville neighbours The Grifter and my brewery, Batch, as well as the Balter XPA—a nice session ale from the Gold Coast. They do a good job here of supporting local breweries. Other Sydney names include Young Henrys and Willie the Boatman.

Great local foodies pub usually packed with locals from singles to families. Craft beers and exciting menu to please all tastes. Excellent enclosed play area for small children. Kitchen open from 11am, 7 days. Sun – Tues 11am – 9pm Wed & Thurs 11am – 9.30pm Fri & Sat 11am – 10pm. "The produce at the Henson has been selected for its quality and integrity. We grow much of our own produce locally in addition to sourcing direct with growers and farmers. We use free range, organic, hormone and chemical free meat & poultry & sustainable seafood. Farm to table – field to fork, that’s our mission. We use many local suppliers- Pepe Saya, Sample Coffee, Serendipity, Pat & Sticks, M+G Seafood’s just to name a few. Most of our menu is gluten free and we make almost everything in house, Smoking, Curing, Brining, Pickling and Fermenting. "
