The King Kamehameha Golf Course is a private course, but offers non-members an opportunity to play as a "Guest for the Day." This fabulous course features some of the best views of the island of Maui and the Pacific Ocean. Sitting 750 feet above sea level, guests not only get to take in a great game of golf, but also the dramatic scenery of Haleakala, the valley of Maui and the sparkling ocean on each side of the island. This 18-hole golf course is considered to be one of the more challenging courses on Maui, and is known to make use of all the clubs in your golf bag! As a bonus, you will have access to their club house, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This clubhouse was originally designed as a home for Marilyn Monroe and her husband Arthur Miller, but given their divorce, they abandoned the project. When visiting the clubhouse, be sure to reserve some time to explore this incredible piece of architecture. With spa facilities in both the men and women`s locker rooms, you will find that you get a lot out of just one game of golf!
