Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve is a nature reserve off the shore of Coffs Harbour offering spectacular views of the Solitary Islands, and the Coffs Coast & hinterland from a unique, off-shore perspective. Perfect spot for whale watching between May-November.

A short scenic walk out to Mutton Bird Island is well worth the effort. Grab a burger or ice cream upon return.

Best walk in Coffs Harbour. Through the marina to the island where the Mutton birds nest underground. Walk to the other side of the island to possibly see whales passing by
