To rent mountain bikes or road bikes try the Bicycle Depot in New Paltz. Reservations are recommended for weekends. A full day rental costs $40 and includes a helmet.

Just a few feet from the rail trail, this bike shop also offers bike rentals for the afternoon ($27) and for the day ($40). Easily access the new River to Ridge trail which is a short ride from the shop.
