A wide range of bicycles, for all the family, to rent, with the Tarka Trail right by the shop, so you have miles of flat ground with great sea and countryside views to explore. We particularly like the route to Fremington Quay, where there is a cafe with great coffee and cakes and a wooden pirates ship for the kids to play on outside. It can get breezy as you are right next to the inlet to Barnstaple so be sure to take a warm layer with you.

The Tarka Trail is 180 miles long and the section between Braunton and Meeth provides 30 miles of flat, traffic free cycling. Bikes can be hired from Tarka Trail Cycle Hire in Barnstaple or you can borrow our two adult bikes and access the cycle route from Braunton.
