Another Plečnik creation, this elegant 1930's bridge is named after the cobblers' workshops located on its predecessor.

This bridge tends to be lively with different street artists and performances. It's also a great place to take photos of the city river towards the other bridges. The bridge itself is one of the oldest bridges in Ljubljana, and dates back to at least the 13th century. Shoemakers were the new occupants, so the bridge gained its present name. Known in Slovenian as "Šuštarski most" or "Čevljarski most", meaning Cobblers' or Shoemakers' bridge.
