This is such a fabulous day out and you can either drive to Brockhole (10 mins away) or get the 555 open top bus from Ambleside bus station or a ferry from Waterhead. Lots of options once you arrive as well, a stroll around the lake, a kids play area which is highly rated or afternoon tea at the restaurant; The Gaddum (booking for the restaurant is recommended as it can get busy).

Great adventure playground. Lake access, with a ferry terminal. Activities on the water and around the park. Short nature trails that are suitable for kids. All day parking. Highly recommend Tree Top nets for age 3+ for kids and adults alike!
