A great spot to borrow books, practice your English or your Spanish, and get info on all kinds of events going on, from mountain bike excursions to zumba classes to lectures. The nonprofit Libros Para Pueblos is home-based here, too. The OLL is a longstanding ex-pat hub.

The Oaxaca Lending Library was founded in 1966 and is one of the oldest continuously operating English language libraries in Mexico. Most of their thousands of books are in English. The Library is also a great place to find out about events that are happening in Oaxaca and the surrounding villages or to meet other travelers and expats. we are fortunate to have this great resource only 2 blocks from Casa en Libres.
