Why locals recommend it

What I love here is that a lot of their sushi comes from different prefectures of Japan. They’ll be able to tell you where each type of fish is coming from. They have an omakase menu based on what’s available, or you can order à la carte. They make a good sunomono, black cod with squid miso, and delicious agedashi tofu. Last time I was here, the sushi bar seating was full, so I sat in the dining room, which was very intimate. They only have a couple of tables in there, so it’s not very distracting. Definitely a good spot for a date night.

On the pricey side, but BEST SUSHI IN SF. We know the owner (what happens when you eat somewhere a lot) so let him know we sent you.
