Tips from locals
One of the nicest and best restaurants in town. The cocktail lounge and wine bar (connected but next door) is a great place to unwind and enjoy some small plates. Food here is awesome.
Mediterranean style cuisine. Good for people-watching, lunch, and dinner. Excellent Sunday brunch menu with "Endless Champagne" Mimosas.
Alchemy is casual fine dining at it's best. Consistently excellent quality with a great atmosphere and an attached lively bar.
We usually take a seat at the bar in the early evening and grab a cocktail and something off their "bites" menu (offered evenings only). Good place to start a night out in Port Townsend.
A warm, cozy and sophisticated bar with very good tapas and bar food. The French onion soup is very good as is the Croque Monsieur and the charcuterie plate. This place attracts a lot of regulars from town, but the vibe is warm fellowship and travelers are enthusiastically welcomed.

“This is one of our favorite places to eat and drink. Great beers on taps (including local ones), and awesome pub food. Best burgers in town. Great fish and chips. And beautiful view from deck with outside seating. This is a 21-and-over place, so no kids. During the summer, it can get busy and the deck fills up. The servers here work hard and are great, but when they are slammed, food can be a bit slower to come out. (A good reason for a second beer!) There is live music many nights, as well as Open-Mike on Wednesday, and karaoke on Thursdays.”

“If you are in the mood for a movie, this is the place. It also has AWESOME popcorn with a variety of toppings available. (You can just go in and buy the popcorn, if you want and there is not a crowd in the lobby.) Lots of interesting special showings on the weekend, including old movies and plays.”

“Denis LOVES noodle soups and sushi, and Denis LOVES, LOVES this place. He says: "I have had noodle soups all over the world, and I promise, the place is AMAZING. All broths made from scratch. Freshest of fresh ingredients. Everything here is great.”

“Another favorite of locals. Beer and wine only. Cash only. Right around the corner from the Saturday Farmer's Market, in case you want to grab a beer after doing the Market. Reportedly, the kitchen is closed at the moment. But they don't mind if you bring good in to eat. Very friendly. Great place to meet locals.”
