Commanded by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, who wished to establish his residence close to the Alhambra. Although the Catholic Monarchs had already altered some rooms after the conquest in 1492.

The imposing Alhambra Palace - one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. Built under the Nasrids in the 14th century, the Alhambra is a series of wonderful palaces, fountains and gardens.
