Why locals recommend it
The coffee bar on the third floor of SFMOMA is run by Sightglass Coffee. They carry a rotating menu of Leaves and Flowers teas, always including at least one caffeinated and one herbal. When I need a break from taking in all the art, I come here for tea and a sweet treat. The people-watching is topnotch, since the museum draws an international crowd. This is the only place where you can try a blend that my tea company, Leaves and Flowers, created in collaboration with Sightglass. It uses cascara, the pulp of the coffee cherry, to make a unique tea mixed with rooibos and fir tips. It has a tangy, fruity flavor, then a lot of sweetness from the rooibos.
