About this place
There's a lot to love about El Almacén. With a name that means "general store" in Spanish, it's rustic and cozy with lots of exposed brick and worn-in wood. The kitchen dishes out flavorful, bone-sticking Argentine fare — think cheese and cold cuts, enchiladas, paella, and most importantly: steaks. On warmer days, the garden in the back is very worth knowing about.

My husband and I love El Almacen - right around the corner on Driggs between N 7th and N 6th, but it can get a little loud in the evenings. If its warm, the patio outside is LOVELY. Small, not as loud. If you sit at the bar, tell them Eric and Christina sent you. the Love us. Well, Eric really. :)
