Paradise Meadows is a beautiful spot, and a rare opportunity to go for a hike in the Vancouver Island alpine without having to hike up to it. Amazing wildflowers in the summer, great snowshoeing or x-country skiing terrain in the winter.

This entrance to Strathcona Provincial Park is one of our favourites for day hikes. The board walk at the beginning of the trail net works allows for all level of hikers to get out into nature and take in the beauty. More advanced hikers will enjoy the extensive trails beyond this starting point.
