A great local pub just down the road. Doesn’t do food but they seem happy to let you eat your takeaway there (maybe just check before). Opposite Bohls Yard where pizza plz is. They usually have lots of live music on.

A proper locals pub with a sunny beer garden for the summer and large open fire for the winter. Really beautiful old and traditional pub full of interesting characters!
