Upscale dining with one of the best patios around. In the warmer months stop by the patio (first come first serve) for a cocktail, appetizer or try a piece of the key lime pie. You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped off the streets and into a private New Orleans garden.

German Village joint (would need to drive, scooter or bike): A classic restaurant with white tablecloths, with a beautiful patio. I always go for the lobster bisque and wedge salad. Serves brunch too.

"A long-time favorite of hip locals and out-of-towners alike, Lindey’s Restaurant & Bar is a German Village staple, marrying chic urban style with a relaxed come-as-you-are attitude. You’ll instantly feel at home."

Another gem in the German Village area. Has an amazing patio and offers a mostly surf 'n' turf menu.

If you have time for only one dinner in the downtown area, this is the place, so look no further. Call ahead and make a reservation, or show up to the bar for happy hour. Beautiful food, generally all-around a great local experience. Worth the time and money for the experience, everytime. This is our favorite restaurant in the city, as it is for many. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Go across the park, walk up Mohawk Street to Beck, and you won't miss it.
