Parkland and gardens for scientific centre for the study of plants, their diversity and conservation. Great place for a stroll, with a cafe and restaurant. Good views south towards city centre.

Visiting the Botanical Garden is a very relaxing day out. There is a lot to see here, including an art gallery in Inverleith House. If it's a rainy day, visit the hothouses to see the tropical plants.
