An entire catchment has been restored by the Borders Forest Trust and groups of volunteers. The first trees, established from very locally gathered native seeds, were planted on New Year's Day 2000. There is a good long walk into the valley and beyond into its sister project at Talla and Gameshope. Do have a look at its website for more information. The parking area is slightly tricky to find, but we will provide more details.
