Nice hilly park with moderate length (1-2 mile) walking trails, views & reservoir. Swing over to Hawthorne or Division street for some good food options after your hike.

Mt Tabor is a dormant volcano with lots of room to walk. There is a reservoir, with a beautiful view of the city. Every August, check out the Portland Adult Soapbox Derby (soapboxracer.com for dates and details). Bring a picnic and chill.

A few different hiking trails, forested, views of the city on one side, views of Mt. Hood on the other side. Play structure in the forested areas for kids, tennis courts, nice bathrooms at the top. Highly recommend!

One of the only volcanos in the heart of a city in the US. Great for hiking, fireworks watching or picnicking.
