Ayo's is one of the oldest paella restaurants on the beach. Sadly they no longer to free refills on the paella but its still just as good. Make sure to come early in summer as the queues can run on for miles!!! Price 1/2
Merendero Ayo: Famous beach restaurant where there is always a big pan of paella on the go. Although very touristy the locals go there too and the paella is simple but good and cheap. On Playa Burriana, s/n, 29780 Nerja, Phone: 952 52 22 89
Home of the famous giant paella with a refillable plate for €7.50. Gets very busy at Spanish lunch time (2-2.30) so be prepared to wait for a table or service. You may need to wave if you need attention. The fried anchovies (white bait to us, boquerones in spanish) with alioli are a taste from heaven and about as andaluz as it gets.. Salads are bountiful.
All you can eat Paella on Burriana beach. Very friendly place. There is often the queue there to get a table, but it is worth it.
