Don't go here for the coffe, but for the view on the lovely terrace. One of the few best views of the Downs where you can also have a drink at a table outside. Order tea instead!

This pub is in the next village, very close to newenden boating station. The boating station has an excellent café. Here you can take a river cruise or hire a boat or paddle board.
