The Venetian Castle of Myrina is the trademark of the capital of Lemnos and is considered one of the best preserved in Greece. Today, visitors to the castle, in addition to the ruins of the old fortress, can see its current "inhabitants", the approximately 70 beautiful deer of the "Platoni" variety. Prefer for your access, the entrance from the side of the Roman Glass, morning or afternoon hours. Equally impressive is the spectacle of the illuminated castle at night, from the city of Myrina.

Have a relaxing 20-30 min walk up the Castle in the morning to share the view with the deer & wild goats that reside on the Kastro. Also a great place to view the sun setting behind Mount Athos.
