Terrigal haven tends to have the smallest waves and is best for toddlers. There are Pelicans on the boat ramp that eat leftovers of fish caught by fishermen. There are beautiful views from the top of a hill (The Skillion), where you might be lucky enough to see whales.

Easy to access, family friendly. Great atmosphere, cafes and restaurants nearby. Good parking and BBQ/picnic facilities. Rock pools at low tide. Easy swimming with small waves.

Just a five minute drive away, the Terrigal Dive Centre arranges trips to North Avoca's very own shipwreck, the ex-HMAS Adelaide.
