This 18th century palace is one of many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the romantic playground of Sintra. No more than 25 minutes away by car. One of our favorite castles we have see and we have seen a lot. The walk through the gardens is lovely and along the outside of the castle. The walk along the wall is for adults and is closed in the high season.

Visit Gardens ONLY Go down to Moors Castle visit then when you exit take little left trail in the woods to Sintra. Walk till you get to Sintra center
