An old tunnel that was built by a French immigrant by the name of Claudius Crozet, for whom the nearby town of Crozet (pronounced Crow-zey) was named.
A really cool trail worth checking out is the Blue Ridge Tunnel in Nelson County, which was engineered by French immigrant Claudius Crozet in the mid-1800s.
This old train tunnel has been recently restored to a hiking trail. It’s very high on my bucket list, but I haven’t made it there yet
Very nice flat walk through the forest through the recently restored Tunnel. Don't forget to bring a flashlight! From the cabin: 33 min (18 miles)
