Gorgeous pastries and other baked goods.

Good coffee, pastries and place to meet a friend or work from. Debatable as to whether their morning bun is better than Tartine's?

One of the best bakeries in the Mission.

My favorite bakery in town! You'll have to try "Rebel Within" (asiago, sausage, green onion, soft cooked egg).

Cheese Shop
““Everything is so delicious” at this “cute” Mission fromagerie – from the “exceptional” American cheeses to the “awesome” pressed sandwiches to the “amazing” mac 'n' cheese – and the staff is “super-knowledgeable” about wine pairings, too; while “compact”, it's “low-key” enough that “you can actually hear yourself” and “they get extra points” for sidewalk seating; P.S. “go for the Monger's Choice if you're feeling adventuresome.””

“Millennials love to stand in lines. Go mid-morning on weekdays to avoid long lines. But, the food is well worth it! Riches beyond your wildest dreams: butter-golden pains au chocolat, cappuccinos with ferns drawn in dense foam and croque monsieurs turbo-loaded with ham, two kinds of cheese and béchamel. Don't be dismayed by the inevitable line out the door – it moves fast – but be aware that lolling in Dolores Park is the only possible post-Tartine activity.”

Dessert Shop
“Small-batch chocolatier offering handmade candy bars & brownies, cocoa beans & educational classes. Their European-style hot chocolate is heavenly good! They also has a factory location on 16th street, 15 minutes walk from there and offers tour and special event there. Check it out!”

“Taquilla Bar next to Tacolicious. Though the cocktail menu is quite short at this Mission spot attached to the restaurant Tacolicious, agave fans will be floored by the list of more than 300 tequilas and mescal served by the glass or carafe; a small selection of botanas (snacks) is another reason to vie for one of a few barstools in the narrow sliver of a space, where an arty arrangement of mason jars tiling the ceiling creates a warm glow”
