On the south-east side of Charnwood Forest is medieval deer park Bradgate Park. At its highest point is the eye-catching Old John Tower, a grade II listed, two-storey, gothic tower. Fondly referred to as the ‘icon of Leicestershire’. If a photo with Old John isn’t enough then get your camera ready…
Beautiful park with numerous walking trails and a guarantee of spotting some deer.
Bradgate is slightly further from Templar road but it's a really nice walk where you can see numerous deer.
