The house was in a great location and had access to a lot of attractions in either direction. In particular, Alejandro himself was the highlight of the stay—he helped us with the real local travel advice, weather advice (we were there during a storm!), recommendations, was attentive and prompt for answering questions, and a cool guy overall. Beautiful area, great central location, and a great experience!

Our stay in Grenivik was wonderful. The space was beautiful, clean, and easy to find. The house overlooks a gorgeous, quiet lake with a wide view of the surrounding mountains. The laundry was a nice touch as well! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this AirBnb to anyone considering passing through Grenivik!

Had an Amazing time away with the help of a great stay and location.

Unexpectedly large house, four bedrooms are very suitable for our group of eight. A comfortable big hot tub, my friends took a bath and chatted in it. The kitchen has a lot of kitchenware, but unfortunately we were tired from the journey and didn't show our cooking skills in it! Each bedroom has the characteristics of the owner of the room, which is very interesting. Clean towels and beds, let us not bear to dirty any of them.

Kristin was responsive. The location was great but due to the unseasonably warm temperatures there were many flying insects even though we’re told they were harmless they swarmed us making it difficult to stay there. Kristin allowed us to cancel our reservation.

Lovely cabin at a working farm. Dreki, the dog, is so sweet. Curtains in the living room might be nice for a little more privacy, but it was fun watching the horses. Thanks for having us!

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.

Definitely in the top 2 places we stayed in Iceland. Árni and Petra’s cabin is cozy, well equipped and comfortable. They were great hosts reaching out with clear instructions well before our stay started. The views of Akureyri were out of this world, and as we lucked out with some sunny days, the deck overlooking the harbour was a lovely spot. Don’t miss the host manual, they had some great local spots that we checked out during our stay.

Cute cabin we stayed in, it was in Akureyri, wooden, 50 sq meters, with an amazing view of Akureyri.

The cottage is a real beauty. Located in a small forest its a perfect, cozy retreat. It has everything needed, we felt at home. Away from busy roads, but still conveniently located to visit Akuteyri, Husavik or the Myvatn-Region. Would absolutely book again if we hopefully come back to that region somewhere in the future.

A beautiful spot! The house is cozy and better than the photos. We had some issues with getting the hot tub to fill up and get hot. But other than that, the house was great and fully equipped! Please note- the tunnel is approx $21 each way so plan your trips to Akureryi and such accordingly! The only restaurant I think nearby is at the golf course. But the house is a great spot for dining in.

This was a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is well designed with lots of space. Our hosts went above and beyond with some very special touches during the holiday season that made us feel very at home, away from home. It was a great stay!
