Holiday houses in Thiès Region

Beautiful spot next to the ocean. We only stayed for one night and would have loved to stay longer. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The pool was popular with our boys. The check-in and departure was efficient with no problems.

We had a pleasant stay. The listing is as described. However, it's best to have a car to get around as the house is a little far from the road. Tiak Tiak Oudou was very helpful. Sonia is an available and welcoming host. We will come 🥰

We had a fantastic stay. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, that is 100 times more beautiful. The pool is huge, there are two kitchen space, all beautifully decorated. Gaston, the caretaker is great. We loved it

This is a very special place, in a superb location. The pictures do not do it justice. We had a wonderful week. Kathy was a helpful and responsive host, and Daba and the team were fantastic. Her cooking is incredible! We will definitely be back.

We loved staying at MamaJo’s and found Daisy a very friendly, helpful and charming host. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The villa is beautiful, tastefully enhanced by the use of local Senegalese art and furnishings. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped, with attention to detail (the only place we have ever stayed with enough clothes hangers!). It was also very helpful to have Ousseynou on site and Khady keeping the villa clean and tidy every day. Whether as a base for taking trips out, or a place to lounge and unwind by the pool, MamaJo’s is a great place to be. Within a short walk there are some very good restaurants serving French food. We enjoyed meals at Cafe Vero and Auberge au Treizeguy. The latter is very usefully open throughout the day and has a beachfront view. There are several shops close to MamaJo’s that sell Senegalese arts and crafts, as well as artists’ studios. We loved MamaJo’s and would be delighted to return.

I can only go to Nathalie's apartment. recommend. The house with the beautiful outdoor area is spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. In 3 minutes I was on the great beach, in just under 10 minutes at the Auchan supermarket. The villa district around it is very pleasant.

Lovely villa, very well equipped. Carefully decorated with African art. 3 large suites ( bedroom/ dressing room/bathroom WC). House fully air conditioned. Hot water and pressure. Pleasant pool in a landscape garden, well maintained. Abdou the caretaker is very helpful and available. Fatou takes care of the house and hosts by preparing good dishes. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the house and the main road where you can stop a taxi. A great stay as a family that we will definitely repeat.
