Kid-friendly holiday rentals in The Catlins

This is our fourth visit and won't be our last. we find it super relaxing.

Kathleens place is clean and tidy. A little bit quirky, house is on a bit of a lean hence beds on a bit of a lean too. Pretty view over the park to the harbour. Little bit of a distance to town to walk than expected, sp reallyyou need a car, and ltd street parking on the street, but parking nearby is easy. Spacious with 2 bedrooms and living area. Peacful.

Our stay was magical. The views are amazing, a beautiful and very quiet beach, a cozy fire and lots of good time in the sunroom with the kids. Having the car really made it easy to access the town and the different hikes. ah yeah... and did we mention the kiwis that visited us on our first morning just before the superb sunrise!!!!

Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great view out over the Harbour and not too far to walk down into town. We caught the bus back as we didn’t fancy the walk up the hill.

We had a great stay at Jo’s place, good location and cosy home. Jo’s communication was great.

Great location, close to everything, quiet neighbourhood, warm house, we had an excellent time with the whānau. Plus Te Anau is such a great location, there is so much to do in this part of the country. We went on the Doubtful Sound cruise - recommended :-)

This is a great place to stay in Central Dunedin. Really close to everything, lovely and warm with everything you need. Highly recommend.

We were in Dunedin for Otago Uni open day so just at the Airbnb overnight. The heatpump was turned on ahead of our arrival which made us feel welcomed. The place is spacious and appealing. Lovely beds and shower. Will return at some stage:)

We fell in love with this unit, it became our home away from home and I cannot even describe how stunning the space and the view from the living room window are. Had everything we needed and more, every single detail was so thoughtfully put there. The hosts even gave us some local walks as suggestion as we both love to hike. I think this is by far my favourite place I’ve booked via Airbnb ever!

Lindsay's place at Kaka Point was excellent. We just stayed one night but the place provides the perfect location, amenities, and outstanding views. We all in our family of four unanimously agreed we should have spent more time at Kaka Point at Lindsay's place..

Our stay at The Terminus was very nice and a place we won’t forget! It was in a great location, very beautiful building and the apartment was gorgeous! Host was very helpful with suggestions and it was very easy to check in. 10/10 recommend!

This place was surprisingly quiet at night despite its very central location which was great for a good nights sleep. Brilliant that it comes with secure parking so it's very easy to walk down George Street to all the shops and restaurants. Super comfortable couches and beds and the shower was brilliant. Love the fitout and decor. Neil had the place cozy and warm when we got there and left some treats which were much appreciated by the kids. We will be back.

What a fabulous apartment! Gorgeous, so comfortable, and well-appointed. Perfectly located in such a charming town!

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.

We were after somewhere to stay that had easy access to the Otago peninsula and albatross centre. This place was ideal for these. Apartment was great. Good kitchen and bedrooms. Just what we needed. Samans mother was there to let us in and show us around.
