Holiday rentals with lake access in Temagami

We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

We booked the Airbnb last minute and it was the perfect getaway! Very clean and Kim was very responsive. Kitchen has everything you need! Lovely stay. We saw lots of white tailed deer next to the house while on a walk!

Lovely house & nice yard. Scenic location near the lake. Clean, well run and a generously stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and obviously put in a lot of work and pride in renting the property.

Johanna's place was super cute, clean and cozy. we had a little trouble getting the door unlocked but Johanna responded to my messages immediately and fixed the situation. she was very accommodating to our group and the house was fully stocked with all necessities and then some. a minute walk across the street to the beach but a nice little water view from front porch or living room. I would definitely stay here again.

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

What a perfect 3-day getaway! My friends and I loved our time at this cottage by the lake. It was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. The cottage was great, and the lake access was a huge bonus. We had an amazing time and would definitely return.

The hosts take pride in their space and went the extra mile to assure the home is a great place to stay! Plan to return!

Ernest and Gisele were lovely hosts. Gisele gave us a tour when we arrived showing us where to find various supplies and safety equipment and the location of switches, etc. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything we needed. The apartment was spotless and the bed was made up with cozy flannel bedsheets which was perfect for this time of year. All notes and recommendations for local dining were in both French and English which was helpful for us. It was a great place for us to stop for the night on our way home.

The place was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. Only negative was we couldn’t find the gray bin mentioned for recycles. Otherwise I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to wind down and relax.

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.

This was a well-appointed, spotless place with a beautiful view and great amenities. Being a short distance to the hospital made this an excellent location for an extended stay. Sean was helpful and communicative. We would highly recommend for a family group.

Really great hosts! They responded quick every time and provided a lot for us. Very much a bring your clothes and you’re good to go situation! The hosts also respected privacy and we never felt uncomfortable being there. The hosts only came if we needed them too and always did when asked, usually within 20 minutes (like for water or propane refills). We also felt safe and secure in this house as we had our own unit and only we could access it. The view of the lake is beautiful and I’m definitely going to miss it! I would definitely recommend and I will be saving this air bnb for any future needs in north bay!:) they also provided all the streaming services which was really great for us during our visit! The outdoor lighting at night was a really nice touch. The place was cleaned really well and you could tell that the hosts truly care, with all the small things most hosts don’t think of or care to do! Thanks for a great stay!:)

I was there on a business trip. Ashley's place is awesome. Great view of the lake and very clean. Bed was comfortable and Ashley is a super great host. Always great to find hidden gems like this. I highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area.

A very nice and cozy spot with a stunning lake view. The private space was peaceful and beautifully maintained, and the hot tub was the perfect touch for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for a quiet, scenic retreat!

This was the best Air BnB I’ve ever stayed at. What made it the best was because of Adi’s personality, concern for my comfort and his respectful nature and engagement. Adi took time to engage, but not to the point where he came across of too much… He was a GREAT host. Was very accommodating of my dog and welcomed us to use the backyard and the available space and amenities.

Had a very enjoyable stay here! Loved the peace and quiet. The owner was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

Joanna and Sean are amazing hosts, and their property is absolutely beautiful 😍 they have been so helpful during my family's stay. We've been through a house fire and they have made it stress-free for us during this difficult time. their caretakers are also amazing, making sure to clear the driveway and decks right away, and taking the trash and recycling. This place has been a godsend for our family, making sure we have everything we need and more. Couldn't be happier ☺️ Thank you again for everything.

The home was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Beautifully decorated and picturesque. The views of the lake are stunning. The area was peaceful yet a close drive into town. The home had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Wonderful hosts with great communication. Looking forward to renting again, we will definitely be back soon!

We had a perfect stay at Michelle’s cozy cottage! We enjoyed nightly family dinners and morning coffees overlooking the beautiful views of lake Nipissing. Her place was well stocked and then some! (nice BBQ, air fryer, and espresso machine, cards and games, towels etc.) Michelle was a great host and despite a family emergency was still quick to respond and was available for any questions we had throughout our stay. We would definitely return again!

I had a great stay at Vanessa's cottage! She was very communicative throughout the process, which made everything easy and stress-free. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and wonderfully private. I especially loved the access to the water, with kayaks and a float available to enjoy. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

An amazing place with an eye catching view. If you want a peaceful place to relax it is a must stay.

We stayed at Ron’s place for a weekend. What a perfect spot. We had ample room for parking and indoors on the rainy evening. He was easy to contact, responded in a timely manner and answered all our questions ! + great view !!! Wow! Thanks Ron !
