Welcome to Retiro do Burel, where you can enjoy the best that Serra da Estrela has to offer. Our house has c.100 m2, two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, and all amenities you need, in order to spend amazing and relaxing holidays away from home :) From our balcony, you can enjoy the magnificent view that extends from Serra da Gardunha to the Tower. This space allows you to view unique landscapes, highlighting the region's vineyards in the surroundings, and visits to farms can be scheduled in order to get an idea of how the wine of the Demarcated Dão Region is produced. We also recommend the region's gastronomy, being able to savor typical products such as Serra da Estrela Cheese and requeijão.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century.
