House holiday rentals in Taylor County

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and were more than happy with our accommodations. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazingly stocked too! The only thing I needed that I couldn’t access was a measuring cup larger than 1 1/2 cups :) But we made that work no problem. The kitchen even had an electric mixer and crockpot! I was so relieved with how easy it was to cook for our family. I would rent this unit again over and over.

Our stay was excellent. The house was comfortable and fit our family perfectly. The location is absolutely wonderful and there is a lot to do at the resort to entertain the kiddos! The restaurants in the area are close by and have excellent food! We had a blast fishing and scalloping! We will definitely be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay while working to restore power to Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach after Hurrican Helene. This would be a great place to come back on vacation and enjoy the town!

My family and I stayed at Ami’s place for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances, pots, pans and cooking utensils you can think of. I contacted Ami with questions a few times, she is very kind and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place in Steinhachee. Thank you!! :)

This house was very beautiful and in a great location close to everything. Very clean and spacious, the kitchen had every thing we needed. The porch had a beautiful view of the river, we enjoyed watching the manatees and we also seen an alligator. With having kids it was nice having a private pool across the street. The boat ramp and dock were very close. The neighbors were very nice welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We came for opening of scalloping season like we do every year and enjoyed our stay at the landing. Ami was a great host and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

Excellent quiet hunting cabin blocks from the marinas and water.

We stayed at Dorothy's place during scallop season and it was perfect! The location was close to everything and we rode our bikes to the restaurants. Everything Dorothy's listing stated was accurate and she responded immediately to the few questions I had. I'll definitely be booking again next year!

Totally enjoyed our time at this location. The house was great, super nice location in town, fun places to go and very relaxing. Would happily return to another delightful getaway.

Been staying in Steinhatchee for years and this was by far the best place we ever stayed. Nicely decorated, clean, everything that you could need. We will for sure be coming back next year

Loved our stay. Perfect location, host was great, home had everything you need, very clean and comfortable. Overall just a great place and the views from the back deck and dock are beautiful. You will not want to miss the sunrise and sunset view from the dock.

The house was absolutely beautiful with a great view of the coast and sunset. The private boat ramp it came with was so awesome and worth every penny! Will be booking again soon!

First time booking a Airbnb and ami made everything very easy and understandable.

We spent 4 days here for the first time, 2 families with children. We were all very impressed with the house. There is plenty of room, storage, and three full bathrooms. No problem for 10 people. There are two extra fridge/freezers and a very helpful ice maker. It is Keaton so we knew we would be cooking a lot, and the kitchen is great. But the big deal is the view. Although there are lots of restaurants in Steinhatchee, we loved cooking in the house every night and eating with a wide open beautiful view of the gulf. We spent hours on the back porch -- morning coffee, evening dinner, and nightly moonsets on the gulf. Peaceful! But that view does require hauling everying up 3 floors. For this trip in 2024, this house was closer to the magic scallop sites than Steinhatchee, landing the limit in less than 2 hours. The boat ride from this house to Sea Hag is around 1 hour ave. 20plus. Creek is 2 feet at dead low tide. GREAT FAMILY TIME!
