“The accommodation is impeccable, very stylish and very central! Literally a few steps from the socket. José very friendly provided us with everything on arrival, from accompanying us to the apartment to recommendations for meals, activities and shopping! Quick and clear communication, without doubt an excellent stay in Taxco.”

“Mayra was wonderful. She speaks fluent English. We WhatsApp each other and she was always very prompt in replying my questions. She was warm and friendly and very helpful in everything. She offered excellent suggestions of where to eat or what to do. Taxco is built on a hill but fortunately Mayra’s house is pretty close to the main room. I used Maps.me app to find the house. The house is I think about 0.3 miles from the one and only bus station and not more than a 10 to 15 minutes walk. If I have to do it again, I would walk ‘back’ on the main room toward Hotel Las Palomas. A little further down is Hotel Real De San Diego. Her house is right above Hotel Real De San Diego which is next to Oxxo Convenient Store. Be careful as the sidewalks are very narrow and there are a lot of traffic coming pretty close to you . I used Maps.me and it leads me to the road one street above the main road and I had to walk up the steep hill and then down before I get to her house. It wasn’t easy even with my 22 pounds carry on bag. If you have a lot of luggages. it is best to just take a taxi. I think Mayra said around town it shouldn’t be more than 20 to 30 pesos. The room has a large window which allows light to fill every space. There is a ceiling fan to circulate the air. The over head light is bright enough to read. I like the desk from which I can eat or study. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The temperature was just right when I was there so I felt comfortable . I like the simple furnishing. It was clutter or full of things. Drinking water was provided. The house is centrally located and about 0.3 miles from the Zócalo but you have to walk up the hill. It’s not far and the view is beautiful up there. I highly recommended this place because Mayra is a wonderful hostess/owner. Her house is clean and functional. Points of interests are within 15 to 20 minutes walk. The bus station is nearby which will get you Cuernavaca and Mexico City.”
