The bath and toilet were old, but they were clean and I didn't feel any inconvenience. The bath may be a little cold in the winter. It was close to Adventure World, fully equipped, and a comfortable stay. I recommend it for small children.

Great house, the area is also very large, the same as the photos introduced by the host, definitely suitable for vacation, sea view on the front line, with hot spring, this time just a small night stay, the chance to stay for a while in the future.

3 bedroom unit in managed tower called Crystal Exe Shirahama 2, part of Crystal chain. We had unit 1102 which has expansive views of the beach & inland from the wrap around balconies on 3 sides. Big rooms,clean and a short walk to the beach and the Ginza Dori eating area & various foot baths. (even shorter if you use the stairs in the middle of the adjacent hospital car park). English diagram of the washing machine & hot water controls would have been good.( note if you want more than a luke warm shower there is a panel over the controls above bath that you need to flick down with your fingernail if you wish to raise the shower/bath temperature). Multinational " students" on check in desk under strict instructions not to let us in until 3pm despite the unit empty & made up the day before (not the hosts fault.) Just Japan and Rules over Service culture. Also strictly one key only which is inconvenient as we had 2 groups and reception closes at 7pm. A good place stay in Shirahama.

I enjoy the natural in-house onsen very much with an ocean view. It would be more friendly to older people if the building could have a lift since the room is on the 3rd floor.

After applying, I looked at various reviews and was very worried about cleanliness and security.We also brought insects, mold control, and sleeping bags, but it was worrying.The old hotel is stained, it is very clean and well cleaned, and the location and location are perfect (beautiful Shirahama Beach in 1 minute, and a 24-hour supermarket is also a short walk away).In addition, the cleaning uncle was also very kind and always took care of it.I stayed for a long time for a month, but I was very lonely to return and I would definitely visit again.It was also quick to respond to questions and gave me peace of mind.Thank you very much.I think it is quite difficult due to rising prices, but I would definitely like to keep the price fixed.

The place is so spacious and equip with everything. The location is great. The coin laundry just downstair. The parking lot is just across the steeet. We’re really had a great time there. Really recommend for stay in Wakayama.

This is a cozy, cute and spacious. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would suggest the host to simplify the check in process. It’s self check in. Each person in your party will have to take a photo with passport on the check in pad. You won’t get the passcode without taking photos. I uploaded the passport photos prior to check in so I didn’t understand about this process. We had a large group and the people who arrived early couldn’t get into the house until everyone arrived.

What a lovely stay, do not hesitate a minute to book this place. The hosts are lovely, kind people who will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant, they offer great information about the area too. The surroundings are serene and quaint, we saw a lot of animals during our hikes and the tiny shrines here and there really add to the charm. Beautiful river nearby, a beach, great little onsens. The house is beautifully arranged with anything you may possibly need and offers a fantastic, wholesome experience of a traditional countryside lodging in Japan. I would rate it 10 stars if there was a possibility.

Peaceful. No traffic noise. Beautiful walks by the river. Amazing mountains all around. Really great soba restaurant at a nearby town (cheap). Felt like a ghibli movie. 10/10 will stay again. PS the manager mentioned in the description does *not* stay in the house. He lives in another town. The entire property is private for your use. Very private and beautiful place.

Anyway, it was easy to spend time, and the access to the surrounding area was very good if it was a car, so I enjoyed it very much.

This is the best Airbnb I have stayed at in Japan. The space is very large, with the beds on the second floor and the living and relaxation areas on the first floor. The facilities are complete. The host thoughtfully considered the flow of movement when arranging the amenities, showing great attention to detail. The host also kindly prepared some food for us, with clear and detailed labels. The host was very warm and welcoming, and when we encountered some trouble, she proactively helped us without hesitation. We are truly grateful for her generosity. I highly recommend staying here!

A truly countryside experience for my teens. Took a little getting use for them. Living spaces were huge. Place was old -school style, neat and clean. Car park next to house. 30 mins to Nachi falls, 20 mins to Taijin Town, 30 mins to Hashiguiwa Rocks. nice peaceful village.

Ah this is by far the best place I have stayed at. The hostel itself feels like a ghibili movie dream. It has plenty of nooks to fall asleep in or relax- perfect gateway from busy life. Its clean, spacious and feels right at home. The best part about this place is the people of Susami- its like you don’t just book a hostel, you book an experience of Susami. And, could not have asked for a better host than Sosuke- planning my next visit already. LOVED IT, highly recommend!

It was very clean and fully equipped.The location was straightforward and check-in was seamless.It was nice that the parking lot was free. I just bought ingredients for dinner.Since there are no condiments, you may need to pay attention to buying seasoned ingredients, etc.The kitchen was fully equipped, and I enjoyed cooking together in the morning and at night. The sunset from the bedroom and bath was very beautiful, and my first stay in Shirahama was a good memory. Also, there is a washing machine with a dryer function, so I was grateful to be able to wash and dry my swimsuit and towels after swimming and take it home. I was able to watch YouTube on TV, so I enjoyed playing my favorite videos and music. It was my first time using airbies, but I found that I could stay in such a good service at a cheaper price than a hotel, and I had more options for future travel.

We stayed for over a month and liked it a lot. Kids friendly. It is what the description says. Nothing fancy. It does have a decent onsen. The bedroom was larger than expected for Japan. The surrounding area where the hotel was looks somewhat abandoned and far from the main attractions of shirahama, but it was very immersed in nature in comparison to other options. We can definitely see ourselves booking again here.

Great place, good to stay a few days to enjoy all points in Shirahama, and you can cook if you want as the kitchen is fully equipped. The view of the apartment is beautiful.

I stayed for one night, but I wanted to stay a little longer! It is a place where you can relax. The location is great with a panoramic view of Shirahama Beach! If I get another chance, I want to use it!

The facility feels like a retreat and is old, but it is well cleaned.Also, the bath was very good with the source.
