The area around Grasbakken is a popular area for seabirds. In addition to seabirds, the area is known to be a hotspot for marine mammals such as seals and whales. Reindeer and moose also graze close to the buildings. The nature around Grasbakken is both raw and beautiful - an arctic landscape where the sea plays an important role in the ecosystem.

Cozy and simple cabin located in quiet surroundings close to the Tana river. The property is used as a holiday home. There is a fast internet, good parking facilities and charging point for electric car. There is little light pollution in the area, so there are good opportunities to see the northern lights. Tana is a good starting point for visiting idyllic places nearby, such as Bugøynes, Torhop, Ekkerøy and Vadsø. You can also stroll down to the sandbanks along the Tana river.
